Sadak 2 Update: Alia Bhatt To Fight Against The Veteran Actor Makarand Deshpande!

Sadak 2 Update: Looks like Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial comeback Sadak 2 is getting bigger and bigger with each announcement. The movie features an ensemble cast of Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Gulshan Grover. Recently, the plot was revealed, revolving around the fake godman. After keeping the actor essaying the fake guru under the wraps, it is learnt that the veteran actor Makarand Deshpande is been roped in.

The source close to the thriller revealed, “It is an intense and challenging role, and Makarand has already started acting workshops with Bhaat saab. Like Maharani, played by Sadashiv Amrapurkar in the Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt-starrer Sadak, a unique look is being designed for him in the sequel”, reports Mumbai Mirror.

Earlier it came to the lights that apart from Gulshan Grover, the movie had another character of godman but Mahesh Bhatt kept mum about the actor essaying it. Speaking about the Makarand’s character, the source stated, “It’s a strong and layered character with negative shades.”

Sadak 2 is said to go on floors on May 18. “On the first day at a city studio, the team will shoot with Sanjay and Alia, with other members of the cast joining in at a later date. Apart from Mumbai, the film will also be shot at other locations of India”, the source adds further.
