Join UsIf reports are to be believed, Prabhas & Shraddha Kapoor’s Saaho has been made on a budget 350-400 crores and while, that’s a hell lot of money, the magnitude at which every single aspect starting from the cast to cinematography are being covered, the movie is surely expected to turn out to be one blockbuster! Now, keeping all that in mind, looks like the Prabhas is considering profit sharing instead of the regular fee and going the Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan & Akshay kumar way.
In a recent conversation by Times Of India, the actor knows it won’t be feasible to charge the regular fee considering the overall budget of the movie, so he’s considering the aforesaid. “He understood that if he needed to make this venture feasible, he couldn’t command his regular fee. In such a scenario, he thought it would be better to take a share of the film’s pre-release business after it has done well,” a source close to the development has revealed.
Moreover, the profit percentage can go upto 50-60% in addition to the upfront fee which is huge in itself. This will reportedly make the actor the only Tollywood actor to make to have such a deal! Win-win for Prabhas, of course.
Saaho also has an ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma, amongst others. It is being shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.
