Ryan Reynolds In The First Look Of Green Lantern

Ryan Reynolds will don the green mask and ring as the Green Lantern. Check out the first look of the film:

Ryan Reynolds is the test pilot Hal Jordan who becomes a Green Lantern and the first earthman ever inducted into the Green Lantern Corps – the protectors of peace and justice sworn to keep intergalactic order. Every Greeen Lantern wears a ring that gives him superpowers.

The film also stars Mark Strong as Sinestro, Jordan’s powerful mentor in the Green Lantern Corps.

Michael Clarke Duncan will lend his voice to Kilowog, the gifted genetic scientist and young Hal Jordan’s trainer on the optimal and best use of the ring.

Geoffrey Rush voices Tomar-Re, the bird-beaked member of the Green Lantern Corps who teaches Hal Jordan how to use his cosmic powers.

Director Martin Campbell’s Green Lantern is currently scheduled for release in 3D and 2D beginning June 17, 2011.
