The ‘Bangistan‘ actor Riteish Deshmukh is all set to star opposite Nargis Fakhri in the upcoming musical drama titled, ‘Banjo‘. ‘Banjo‘ will mark the Bollywood directorial debut of Ravi Jadhav, who has directed some of the commercially successful and national award winning Marathi films like ‘Natarang‘, ‘Balgandharva‘, Balak Palak‘, Timepass and Timepass 2.

Banjo will go on floors from 17th January in Mumbai. Reportedly, Riteish Deshmukh will play the character of a Banjo player while Nargis Fakhri will portray the role of a DJ in the film.

The music will be scored by duo Vishal Shekhar and the film will be produced by Krishika Lulla under her banner Eros.
