Join UsYes besides having same surnames, Rishi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor will be seen in YRF’s next untitled film, as father-daughter duo; which is written by Habib Faisal of Do Dooni Chaar fame, that featured Rishi Kapoor. But this time around Habib wants Rishi to play father to the super-stylish B-Town babe Sonam Kapoor.
Reveals an insider, “The film is untitled as of now and the cast has been zeroed on Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles, with Rishi Kapoor in the role of Sonam’s father. It is a story about a young deeply-in-love-couple and their journey after being through various love tests put in by Mayera’s (Sonam’s) father V.K.Sehgal (Rishi Kapoor) who gets angry after finding out about his daughter’s affair. It is based on Delhi and will be shot there. It is said to be a wacky romantic comedy.
This is the very first time Sonam and Ayushmann would share screen space. The filming is to begin in early February next year and would also probably release in 2013 itself.
