Senior veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, is in New York for the past nine months as he is undergoing treatment for cancer. It was last year when his fans got tensed as he announced his travel overseas related to health issues. Now in a recent interview, he opened up rumours in the media, how he partially agreed with Kangana  Ranaut, films he would like to do when he back to India and more.

In the interview with Mumbai Mirror Rishi was asked about the ‘rumours’ of him being mad at Jhootha Kahin Ka makers for a sudden decision to release the movie this Friday. In his answer he agreed with Kangana’s views on a certain section of the Indian media. Let’s check out what he said.

Rishi Kapoor ‘Partially’ Agrees With Kangana Ranaut; Says, “Some People Write Anything”

He was quoted saying, “Yes, I have been seeing these reports (Rishi upset with Jhootha Kahin Ka makers) on Twitter and I am very upset with all this nonsense being written. In the last 10 months, I have not spoken to anyone from the media, though they have always supported me. I agree with Kangana Ranaut that some people write anything and as a result, serious journalists get drawn into the controversy. When did I say I was upset? I have not been in the country for months. This is not done, it tarnishes the credibility of other journalists who write and report well. Though I do not entirely agree with what Kangana said, on this point anyone can get upset”.

For uninitiated, Kangana got into a tiff with a journalist during the launch of her Wakhra Song from Judgementall Hai Kya. The Entertainment Guild and the Press Club Of India decided to put a ban on her, as they demanded a formal apology. She further put up a video taking a dig on the journalists and even sent a legal issue to the Guild to remove the ban in 24 hours.
