Rishi Kapoor is with wife Neetu Kapoor in New York for his underlying treatment of cancer. The Kapoor & Sons actor is living in the Big Apple City since the last September. Now Rishi is a true Punjabi at heart who loves good food and swears by “Ghar Ka Khana”. The actor was visited by close friend Anupam Kher and they had a scrumptious meal together.

Rishi went on Twitter to share a photo of the Indian food he had. A photo of ‘Aate ka Phulka’ – something that he relished after a very long time. At Anupam Kher’s apartment for lunch. Had the correct “aate(flour) ka phulka( Indian bread) after a while. Great food made by his man Friday Daddu, he tweeted while sharing the trio’s picture.

Anupam also shared a compilation giving us a summation of the evening. The actor wrote “beautiful” experience. “It was as always wonderful and inspirational to spend a beautiful evening with my friends Neetu and Rishi Kapoor. Both of them are a great example of human endurance and triumph. Road to recovery, both, physical and mental is faster if there is love, care and determination. Well done. Jai Ho,”

Neetu also took on Instagram and wrote, “Always a pleasure spending time with Anupam. He has been a great support all through.”

Rishi is on the splurge of a speedy recovery and is expected to be back to the bay by August end.
