Rhea Chakraborty has managed to be a leading lady of a small-n-sweet success Mere Dad Ki Maruti. Still doing reasonably well in some of the pockets where it is currently playing, this Aditya Chopra production has turned out to be yet another surprise winner of the year, albeit a small one at that. Moreover, though one had expected the film to be an out and out male affair, what with Saqib Saleem and Ram Kapoor coming together for this son-n-father tussle tale over a Maruti, Rhea has turned out to be a well wrapped package.

Now this is pretty much a beginning for Rhea who has a three film contract with the Chopras. With none less than YRF standing behind her, it must indeed be special something for her to see doors opening quite soon for her in Bollywood and that too at such a tender age.

“Well, it is a combination of a lot of things but then eventually luck is the biggest factor”, says Rhea who is a self-confessed ‘deep thinker’, “There are a lot of people out there who are talented and good looking. However, not many people get an opportunity to be associated with a Yash Raj film.”

Going through her impressive profile, which also includes her association with numerous products and brands like Pepsi, Fanta, Panasonic and Parle to name a few, it is also apparent that she has managed to achieve a lot at a very young age.

“See, a lot of things need to go right in order for a model to get such good work and then to go ahead and bag a movie. I feel fortunate to be chosen one”, she says.

We agree.

Meanwhile Sonali has already started working on her next film, Sonali Cable, the shooting of which kick-started on Wednesday. A Rohan Sippy production, Sonali Cable is the story of an underdog who takes on the system. Also starring newcomer Raghav Juyal of ‘Dance India Dance’ fame, the film is being directed by Charudutt Acharya, who had earlier written the dialogues of Dum Maaro Dum and the screenplay of Nautanki Saala.
