Join UsMr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan has reportedly signed his next project after Thugs Of Hindostan, which is a biopic of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma.
According to sources, the makers of the film had 2 titles in mind with one being ‘Salute’ and other one ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’. Makers also revealed that Prime Minister of that time, Indira Gandhi had asked Rakesh Sharma how India looks from space, to which he replied, ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’. So they decided it will be an apt title for this film.
Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian, who traveled in space. Aamir will start shooting for this film after completing Thugs Of Hindostan.
The 51-year old actor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming biographical sports drama Dangal, which is set to hit the screens on 23rd December.
