Rajkumar Rao, who has proven his acting skills in films like Shahid, Citylights, Aligarh which were all directed by Hansal Mehta and has wrapped up one more upcoming film ‘ Newton’.
The actor has won accolades for delivering power-packed performances in his previous films.
In his upcoming release, Newton, Rajkumar Rao will be seen romancing co-star Geetaanjali Thapa who made her debut with Tina Ki Chaabi which won the actor the National Film Award for Best Actress and many others such as Best Performance for the Los Angeles Film Festival 2013, Best Actress for the 61st National Film Award, Best Actress for the 14th Annual New York Indian Film Festival.
Both the actors will be seen together on screen for the first time. It will be interesting to see them share the screen as both have proved they are brilliant actors and their achievement shows it all.
The youngest national award winner, Rajkumar will yet again present a new and different avatar in the film.
Coincidentally Rajkumar and Geetanjali had won their respective national awards in the same year, 2014. Rajkumar had won the national award for his film Shahid and Geetanjali won it for her film, Liar’s Dice.
Vikramaditya Motwane’s who has directed films from different genres is set to given another divergent film titled ‘Newton’. The film will be on floors soon and the audience cannot wait to see what the film is all about as the the title is too catchy.
