Bollywood is living up the Awards Season quite energetically. The latest Award function to join the long list of them is the recent Star Guild Awards held at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai on 16th February. Bollywood Biggies graced the evening with their warm presence and made it one memorable night for Bollywood this season. The function was hosted by Salman Khan who managed to keep his Pandey-jee avatar low and was more himself. Koimoi brings to you the interesting attires from the star studded night.
Salman Khan
Salman Khan was omnipresent all evening and was quite brilliant at playing the perfect show presenter for the evening. He kept his look simple yet stylish in his Black suit.
Most men in Bollywood kept their look simple and played safe with Black. However the actresses made up for it all by flashing their best look this evening.
Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra whose delicious Barfi! rocked at all the previous Award functions was prepared to face the shutterbugs in her metallic shiny dress designed by Shehla Khan. The boatline neck and back open dress made her look stunning, to point out the obvious.
Vidya Balan
Vidya Balan who won the Best Actress Award was seen wearing a Purple saree with glossy black blouse. She was yet again holding up the mantel for her favorite designer Sabyasachi.
Sridevi
Sridevi has been going the Vidya way, it seems. Contrary to her Western look at the Filmfare Awards, she decided to go for the traditional look this time. She confidently posed in her Sabyasachi designed black kurta with heavy embroidery with a lehenga at the Red Carpet.
Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma who usually flaunts herself in western clothes, too decided to go Indian this evening. She was seen in a gorgeous black and pink saree designed by Manish Malhotra.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha gave us a pleasant surprise by looking amazing in her white embroidered anarkali by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi Rao Hydari whose recent film Murder 3 hit the screens last Friday, was looking lovely in her Payal Singhal designed peach saree. Her minimal make up look was suiting her well.
Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez was in beautiful best. The former Miss Sri Lanka was making quite a statement in her black and red, off shoulder Lanvin gown.
Ileana D’Cruz
Ileana D’Cruz who made a remarkable entry in Bollywood last year, was seen in casual floral dress by Dolce and Gabbana.
Hema Malini
Koimoi’s pick for the most beautiful lady of the evening has to be Hema Malini. The Drem Girl made an elegant appearance in a fabulous white saree which she adequately teamed up with fine accessories. She truly looked agelessly glamorous and stunning.
The Star Guild Awards wrapped up with immense energy and great pomp and show staying true to the Bollywood style of Awards nights.
