Ranveer Singh To Star In Magadheera Remake

The Hindi remaking rights of the Telugu film Magadheera have been acquired by Phantom. Ranveer Singh will play the lead role in the film being produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya Motwane. A director is still to be finalised.

The 2009 Telugu hit film starred Ram Charan Tej and Kajal Aggarwal. It was dubbed into Tamil as Maaveeran and in Malayalam as Dheera – The Warrior. Ranveer also stars in Phantom Productions’ film, Lootera, with Sonakshi Sinha.
