On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘83. The film is based on India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. Ranveer will be essaying the role of former Indian Cricket captain Kapil Dev. ‘83 also stars Deepika Padukone as Kapil Dev’s wife Romi.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy is India’s official entry to Oscar this year. The film is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and had hit the screens in February this year.
