The 39-year old ‘Highway‘ actor is all set to portray the character of Salman Khan’s coach in the upcoming biopic drama ‘Sultan‘. Both the actors have previously worked together in ‘Kick‘.

While shooting for ‘Kick’, Salman and Randeep became very good friends and they share a very good equation. The character of coach required a tall versatile actor with good physique so Salman suggested Randeep’s name to director Ali Abbas Zafar.

Later Randeep Hooda was approached for this character and he soon came on board for this film. Randeep who has lost 20 kg for his role in ‘Sarabjit’ will now gain weight for Sultan. He will also undergo wrestling training to meet the demand of the character.

‘Sultan’ is slated to release in Eid 2016 and will clash with SRK starrer ‘Raees’.
