Ranbir Kapoor starrer Jagga Jasoos that will mark the entry of this young Kapoor lad into film production, will be co-produced by Disney. Jagga Jasoos that was the first production venture of Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor’s company Picture Shuru will now be a Disney franchise with Disney providing them full blown marketing strategies!
The film that is expected to be a three part series, will be a desi cross between Sherlock Holmes and James Bond. It will go on floors by mid 2014, till then Anurag and Ranbir will zero on the details and drafts of the films’ scripts as well wrapping up all the pre-production work.

Disney, however, has more colossal plans for the film. At the helm of affairs, they are apparently already planing merchandising, comics and gaming schemes, with more ideas in order for the film.

Being Bollywood’s unique and first of its kind franchise, the UTV team along with Ranbir and Anurag are said to have cracked the deal, reported a leading daily. Going by the success of this team, like last year’s Barfi!, something delectable is in store for the audience.
