Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Superhero Film In Trouble?

Everyone was quite excited when reports came about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt teaming up for a film together. Ranbir’s close friend and talented director Ayan Mukerji was to direct this film with a super-hero twist. It seems this dream project is now in trouble and the film might also get shelved.

Reports suggest that producer Karan Johar is now getting second thoughts about the film’s feasibility in current times. Superhero flicks are not easy and with Hollywood and Bollywood both having loads of ideas being thrown around, he does not want to take a risk with the same.

Another factor could be the fact that Ranbir’s current career graph is alarmingly low. His past releases have taken a blow at the box office and a superhero film in such times would be a gamble.

There is already a new superhero coming to B-town as Karan’s choreographer friend Remo D’Souza is working on A Flying Jatt with Tiger Shroff as the lead.

Looks like, Ayan may now have to work on a separate script to cast Alia and Ranbir together.
