Rajkummar Rao is one of the most talented actors we have in Bollywood. With films like Shahid, Trapped, Newton, Omerta and many others, he proved his acting mettle and how he can conveniently perform complex and challenging characters.

However, there have been times when his choices didn’t work and the films failed to win people’s heart. But the failure of these films didn’t take away people’s faith in his talent. So does he regret doing any such films? The actor agrees.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Rajkummar Rao got candid about his films and career. He said, “I really don’t see anything else, and when you do that, it isn’t necessary that you will get the lead role. Yes, I’m a greedy actor, too, and would love to do the most impactful part in a story. But, I know that it might not happen every time. So, when you don’t get that, you don’t stop working. The idea is to make the character I’m portraying as impactful as possible.”

About his regret on doing certain films, the Made In China actor said, “Looking back, I do regret doing one or two films, I won’t name them… I signed them for some emotional reason. But I don’t regret losing out on good films.”

Up next, Rao will be seen in Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan alongside Nushrat Bharucha. He is also a part of a horror-comedy called Roohi Afza which also stars Janhvi Kapoor. The actor is one of the leads in Anurag Basu’s untitled project which includes actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi.
