Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon after impressing audience with their chemistry in Bareilly Ki Barfi are all set to collaborate for yet another slice of life comedy drama. The title of the film that was awaited is finally out and the film will be called Second Innings. Below are all the details about the project that you need to know.

Awaited by the fans of two, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon’s film together is titled Second Innings. Directed by Abhishek Jain, the film will also star veteran actors Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia. The premise of the film is quite unique.

If reports are to go by, the film will star Rajkummar and Kriti as a couple who decide to adopt parents as to fill the void in their lives. Abhishek himself confirmed the title of the film, as it suits the script just right, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama.

The report also claims that the makers were about to begin shoot for the film in Delhi in March, but just like for all of us, the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus has put things on stand still. The film will now go on floors only when the virus subsides and everything returns to normal.

As for the actors, apart from Second Innings, Kriti Sanon will be seen in her Luka Chuppi director Laxman Utekar’s next Mimi. Rajkummar Rao’s film Chhalaang with Nushrat Bharucha was ready for a release but everything depends on when the virus bids an adieu.
