Raj Kundra Breaks Silence On Gold Cheating Scam: “Why Is It That Only One Person Needs To Reach The Media Before Contacting Us?”

Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty recently came in the limelight when their names were dragged in another controversy. Actor and businessman Sachiin Joshi allegedly said that the couple duped him of money under a scam that they were a part of. Raj Kundra and Shilpa were ex-directors of a gold trading company named Satyug Gold Pvt. Ltd. and the company has allegedly cheated the Amavas actor.

It was reported that Sachiin even filed a police case of cheating, fraud and other charges against Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra and officials of SGPL including names like Ganpati Chaudhary, Mohammed Saifi and others with the Khar Police Station in Mumbai.

Reacting to this, Raj finally spoke to SpotboyE and revealed his side of the truth. He said, “Just stating facts to correct a false narrative that’s doing rounds in the media. This is with reference to the news about a complaint filed by an NRI (gutkha baron’s son Sachin Joshi) for losses suffered, following an investment in Satyug Gold Pvt Ltd. Firstly and most importantly, Shilpa and I have received no such complaint as claimed by the gentleman in question.”

He continued, “The website has all the relevant details and contact information for those who want their queries answered. With all the assistance we’ve made available, it is quite underhanded to say that there was no remedy. I would request the media to perform a cursory fact check before publishing information and not be an accessory in misleading viewers and readers.”

“He has not paid his dues. All businesses have proper channels of communication and the whole world is dealing with us. Why is it that only one person needs to reach the media before contacting us? Very malicious indeed” he added.

Raj assured that a copy of a letter sent to him addressing the same issue has been shared with the local police station where he filed a complaint as well. “It clearly mentions that he hasn’t paid his dues and is blatantly lying and misleading the authorities by not even contacting us once,” he concluded.

Well, now one will have to see what Sachiin has to say about the same.
