The item song has been choreographed by Prabhu Deva’s brother Vishnu Deva who was pleasantly surprised by the actress’ impressive dance move. The choreographer had earlier tweeted about the smashing experience of working with the actress.
The item number for Ramleela was shot in Film City Studios where an expensive artificial set was created for the song and 20 other female dance performers were looped in for the same.
After two extremely disappointing item songs namely Pinky and Babli Badmaash, perhaps the actress now has a real shot at delivering something extraordinary for the item song in Ramleela. The film has a good hype around it considering that the grandeur of Bhansali is back after a long respite. The film stars for the first time, rumored real-life couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in lead roles who passionate chemistry in the trailer’s highlight point! Slated to release on 15th November, the film is one of the year’s most awaited films!
