Priyanka’s Father Critically Ill; Chants ‘Mahamrityunjaya Mantra’

Worried Priyanka Chopra, whose father is critically ill, tweeted ‘Mahamrityunjaya Mantra’ on the social networking site yesterday.

PC’s father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, is currently at the Kokilaben hospital battling with cancer. The actor’s father is reported to be in a very critical condition.

Priyanka tweeted, “Om tryambakaṃ yajāmahe sugandhiṃ puṣṭi-vardhanam urvārukam iva bandhanān mṛtyormukṣīya māmṛtāt⁰⁰…..”

‘Mahamrityunjaya Mantra’ is a mantra chanted for conquering death as it protects against all threats and at the time of death eases the process of release.

Apparently, Priyanka has postponed all rehearsals for Omang Kumar’s Mary Kom bio pic.
