Universal Music Group (UMG) and Desi Hits! have signed a worldwide recording agreement with Priyanka. A trained Western classical singer, Priyanka is currently in the studio, writing and recording her debut pop album, which will be sung in English. Troy Carter, CEO of Atom Factory, who also manages Lady Gaga has signed with Priyanka to manage her music career across the globe.
An excited PC posted her messages on Twitter.com, “OMG OMG…it’s finally happened.Big day for me guys… goin nuts!!Just signed a recording deal to release my debut International music album… The album will be in English & will have a worldwide release. A long cherished dream is now taking flight and I am so very excited! I’ve already started working on the album.It’s scary but so very exciting & I’m counting on UR support as I begin this exciting new journey. Music has always been a passion and now I have been given the opportunity to share it with the world. Wish me luck…”
