We had thought that Alia Bhatt might have come out clean from her Dumb-Alia fiasco post Koffee With Karan when AIB did a fantastic video on the actress. Singing about Faraday is another story but the actress is not sure who the Chief Minister of her state is.
At the launch event of Alia By Jabong yesterday, the actress was very confident that Prithviraj Chauhan is the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. For some reason, she calls him Chauhan instead of Chavan. When informed about his resignation, she gasped, “He resigned? When?”

Deviating from it, she said, “You can ask me about Narendra Modi. I watched his speech at Madison Square. I know he spoke about sanitation. I watched his speech at Central Park also where he said ‘Hugh Jackman live strong’ or something like that.”

Given Alia’s responses, the reflex question was finally asked at the event. Apparently Alia Bhatt had paid All India Bakc#### to make the video Alia: Genius of the Year. Rubbishing it, the actress told the media, “The AIB boys got very offended. It’s stupid. You do something to have fun and people are saying that. One of them actually tweeted saying that ‘Yes Alia did pay me a lot of money, just bought an island.’ That’s our answer. We did it for fun. I did their first video which was a spoof on Ishqwala Love so I’ve always been up for making fun of myself.”
But the conclusion remains, Alia’s diet prescribed by her brain enlargement doctors has clearly gone haywire. We suspect an overdose of Page 3, acute lack of Murakami and excess measures of Twilight has caused it all over again.
