Akshay Kumar had to witness the start of the year in a disappointment as his upcoming cop drama Sooryavanshi has been pushed owing to the on-going pandemic. While the fate of his Eid 2020 release Laxmmi Bomb remains unknown too, another project in the lineup for the year remains Prithviraj. And we have some updates on that!
For the unversed, Prithviraj is a period drama, directed by Chandraprakash Dwiwedi and will mark a Bollywood debut for Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar. Recently the shoot of the film was stalled by Karni Sena in Rajasthan, and later due to the turmoil across the world with Coronavirus spreading like a wildfire. To bring in some good news, latest reports suggest that Akshay Kumar has roped in a dialogue coach to work on his delivery as the titular role of the warrior king.
A source close to Bollywood Hungama reveals the same as, “Both Aditya Chopra and director Chandraprakash Dwiwedi felt Akshay needed to work on the dialogues to make the character look fully credible, and Akshay agreed to do so for the first time.”
The superstar despite winning National awards multiple times, have faced backlash from the critics who weren’t too happy with his dialogue delivery in the past. Now, Chanakya fame filmmaker Dwivedi wants to ensure that nothing goes wrong with the project and has convinced Akshay to hire a dialogue coach for the same. As a result of the same, the superstar agreed to it, which also reportedly marks the first time in Khiladi’s career that he’s hiring a dialogue coach.
