Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar, who last directed Mardaani, now plans to make a film inspired by his real life incidents, confirms a source close to the filmmaker.
A source close to Sarkar revealed, “Pradeep is currently writing a script which is inspired by his real life incidents. However, he is in no hurry to start his next film as he wants to give enough time to this script. After a long time he has enjoyed success with Mardaani and he wants to go slow with his next project.”

However, if the sources are to be believed Pradeep is keen on casting one of his favorite actresses – Rani Mukerji for his next film which is inspired by his real life but, nothing has been finalized so far.

His last outing with Rani in Mardaani proved to be a successful venture after the debacle of three films in the past. Pradeep Sarkar is known for his films including Parineeta, Eklavya, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Lafangey Parindey and Mardaani.
