Post Baahubali’s Blockbuster Success, Is Prabhas Charging 100 Crores For Saaho? Truth Revealed!

With his upcoming movie Saaho, South actor Prabhas is literally grabbing all the eyeballs, and why not, post the massive success of his Baahubali, all eyes are on him to deliver another earth shattering record at the box office! Only time will tell whether that happens or not, but Prabhas is addressing all the rumours around the alleged 100 crore fee he’s charging for the Sujeeth directorial.

In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, Prabhas revealed all about it as he shared, “Bahubali has set the bar high but Saaho was a 250 crore film, so I knew I couldn’t charge my usual remuneration. I started out with a 20 per cent cut. Then, the film went slightly over and though my friends were ready to pay up, I couldn’t take their money knowing they were putting in so much without thinking of what they’d earn.”

Well, that clearly proves how thoughtful and humble the actor is, indeed a superstar!

Meanwhile, the actor also spoke about how the success of Baahubali still leaves him baffled as he said, “I am still wondering if it (franchise) really happened, it’s surreal. A few months ago, Karthikeya, Rajamouli’s son and a friend, called to inform that Skyfall, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Bahubali 1 and 2 will be screened at London’s Royal Albert Hall in October in the ‘10 Years of Films in Concert’ series with live orchestra. Excited, I told him I want to be there too, feel a part of the magnum opus again.”

Meanwhile, Saaho also starring Shraddha Kapoor has been directed by Sujeeth, and is scheduled to release in three languages – Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on August 30th.
