Early today, the news came in about that the 11,400 crores scam of Punjab National Bank which included Nirav Modi. After the news came in, it spread like wild fire! Priyanka Chopra accused Modi of not paying her for the said diamond ad campaign.
PNB, which is India’s second largest state-owned bank discovered a fraud of approximately 11,400 crores at a single Mumbai branch. The bank named three diamond firms who have benefitted from the fraud — Diamonds R Us, Solar Exports, and Stellar Diamonds. According to the reports, Nirav and his family members are partners in all these companies.

A Mid-Day report states that Sidharth too is looking to cut ties with the diamantaire as he does not want to harm his image by being associated with Nirav, who has been accused in this major fraud case. A report in Bollywood Life suggested that Sidharth was supposed to shoot for two more commercials, but looking at the current scenario, we are not sure if that is going to happen.
There is no official statement from Priyanka Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra on this same issue. If the reports are to be believed Nirav Modi has left the country now.
