Saiyami Kher, who made a stellar debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya alongside Harshvardhan Kapoor, has recently opened a rural farm-stay in Nashik.

Not many know that the talented actress who is fast emerging as a celebrity sports icon for the youth hails from Nashik and has recently invested in a property called Utopia Farmstay in her hometown.

Utopia Farmstay is a waterfront property overlooking the serene Gangapur Lake on one side and the majestic Sahyadri mountain ranges on the other. The exclusive property comprises of 10 cottages for guests, aesthetically designed with pure seasoned teak-wood sourced from the waadas of Maharashtra. Each room has been painstakingly decorated with authentic tribal artwork, to give you a feel of an actual village home from the heartlands of rural Maharashtra. In addition to the guest cottages, there is a reception area and a special outdoor dining enclosure. A sprawling organic farm will occupy a corner of the property’s premises.

A source informs, “Having been born and brought up in Nashik, Saiyami is quite fond of the place and it was her long cherished dream to create a space amidst nature in Nashik.”

Saiyami informs, “My parents (former Miss India Uttara Kher and model Adwait Kher) have been a part of the Taj and Oberoi group of hotels with over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Utopia is an extension of our home. And is very close to my heart. Everyone living in big cities needs a get away from their hectic lives. This space is a perfect place to unwind, relax and detox. We will also be doing lots of retreats and workshops there soon.”
