After the huge success of Ramleela and Bajirao Mastani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will soon start his ambitious project titled Padmavati. The film will feature Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
Unlike Ramleela and Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will not be seen romancing each other in Padmavati.

Reportedly Ranveer portray the character of Alauddin Khilji, while Shahid and Deepika will essay the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar and Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh respectively.

Padmavati is all set to go on the floors soon. Deepika has already wrapped up her Hollywood project, XXX: Return Of Xander Cage while Ranveer too will have Befikre release in December, post which, he can commence the shoot. We expect the film to release in late 2017.
The film will be jointly produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures – Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It is set to hit the screens in 2017.
