Katrina’s upcoming film is Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, in which Imran Khan falls in love with his brother Ali Zafar’s fiancée, played by Ms. Kaif. A bit bolder, the 2005 Spanish film La mujer de mi hermano (My Brother’s Wife) is about a woman, essayed by Barbara Mori, who’s having an affair with her husband’s brother. No wonder that the distributors for the Spanish film have decided to name the film as Spanish Beauty and tweaked the story to make it the husband’s friend, and not his brother, that Barbara has an affair with to suit Indian audiences.
So should Yash Raj be worried about the Katrina Kaif-Imran Khan-Ali Zafar film facing competition from the Spanish hottie? We don’t think so; ‘Spanish Beauty’ releases on November 19th, and that’s quite far from ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ hitting theatres.
The story may be typical Yash Raj with a big fat wedding and lots of naach gaana, but what we’re looking forward to is seeing Imran and Katrina together on screen. The wait is on!
