Kartik Aaryan is one of the most sought after actors of Bollywood of current times and has proved his worth as a bankable star with back to back successes like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi. Courtesy to such big hits, the 29-year-old actor is on the radar of most of the renowned filmmakers and the latest to join the list is none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Earlier, there were speculations stating that Kartik Aaryan to bag a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi opposite Alia Bhatt but just missed out on an opportunity due to dates’ issues. But the latest development coming in from Bollywood Hungama, reveals that the young star might become the part of SLB’s next production.

A source close to the entertainment portal states, “Kartik came THIS close to playing the lead opposite Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Sadly the dates didn’t work out. Kartik will now be a part of a Bhansali Production to be announced soon.”

Speaking about Kartik Aaryan’s next projects, the actor is gearing up for December 6th release Pati Patni Aur Woh featuring Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. He Will also be seen in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kiara Advani, slated to arrive on 31st July 2020.

Meanwhile, Kartik is currently on a promotional spree of Pati Patni Aur Woh and in one the promotional events, he said that he is proud of his origins and his struggle phase in the film industry.
