Bringing in another film on Indian army is the husband-wife duo, Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. The two are coming together for a film based on the soldiers posted at the Siachen glaciers in the Himalayas and have confirmed the same on their social media fronts themselves.

The Panga director took to her Twitter feed and wrote, “Blessed that we are able to tell stories of unsung heroes of our beloved India. Proud to be a part of Sanjay Shetty”s dream film #SiachenWarriors (working title),”

The film produced by Nitesh, Ashwini and Mahaveer Jain will have Sanjay Shekhar Shetty as the director. Written by Piyush Gupta and Gautam Ved the film will be based on a true story. No further details about the plot have been revealed.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor took to Twitter to congratulate the couple. Karan wrote, “Glad to announce my dear friends #MahaveerJain, @NiteshTiwari22 & @AshiwnyIyer next monumental film #SiachenWarriors, an incredible story of the brave warriors of our Indian Army. Directed by Sanjay Shekhar Shetty and written by Piyush Gupta and Gautam Ved.”
