A few weeks ago, Nana Patekar got a relief from Mumbai Police amidst the allegations of sexual harassment by Tanushree Dutta. Police submitted the B summary report to the court, which stated the lack of evidence against the veteran actor. The matter was also taken into consideration by Maharashtra Women’s Commission.

Tanushree Dutta made a complaint to Maharashtra Women’s Commission via third person, which has now turned down the accusations of the actress as police didn’t find any evidence in the case. Also, the actress failed in appearing despite summons before the body, as stated in a press conference held on Wednesday by the commission.

Talking to DNA, Vijaya Rahatkar, the chairperson of Maharashtra Women’s Commission, spilled the beans on the entire issue. He quoted, “After the complaint made by Tanushree, the Commission sent a notice to the people related to the case. The victim was also required to come directly and give information about her complaint, which did not take place. The process for actor Nana Patekar’s clean chit has begun, after the report was submitted by the police in the court. The court received the B summary report (no evidence in support of the claim) and began the process accordingly. After the report was released, Tanushree has been given a notice period.”

Earlier, Tanushree Dutta took a dig at the commission for not lending a proper support to her in the matter.
