Last year, Tanushree Dutta opened the floodgates for the victims of sexual harassment, specifically in Bollywood industry through #MeToo movement. Tanushree accused Nana Patekar of sexually inappropriate behavior towards her while filming a song for their 2008 project  Horn Ok Please. Although the veteran actor got a clean chit from Mumbai Police, he lost out an important project in the form of Housefull 4.

Nana Patekar was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Kaala and as per the latest reports, the 68-year-old has finally signed a project after the #MeToo blow in an upcoming Tamil thriller starring Jayam Ravi in lead.

It is learnt that Nana will join the team in the next shooting schedule and the movie is said to be a remake of Akshay Kumar’s 2015 release Baby.

In 2018, due to the serious allegations of sexual harassment by Tanushree Dutta, Nana Patekar had to walk out from Housefull 4 and was replaced by Rana Daggubati.

In less than a month after the Mumbai Police filed a closure report in the alleged #MeToo sexual harassment case lodged by Tanushree Dutta against actor Nana Patekar, the actress warned of filing protest petition against the actor’s clean chit in the case.

Tanushree opposed the B-Summary report filed by the Oshiwara police station. She was represented by advocate Nitin Satpute at Railway Mobile Court in Andheri here.

The police move came after they reportedly did not find enough evidence in the matter, virtually ending the case as they cannot continue further investigations.
