The filmmaker today, released the first poster of Mr. Lele and Varun in almost no clothes is making it a funny one. The film is set to hit the big screen in 2021 and below is everything you need to know about the same.
As per the reports, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar will also star in this Shashank Khaitan directorial. As the makers, today released the first poster and look of Varun from the film, the things are confirmed.
While sharing the poster, Karan on Instagram wrote, “The dream team is back and they are bound to bring in 2021 with another round of an epic entertainer! Presenting @Varun_dvn in and as #MrLele, releasing 1st Jan 2021! There are more members of this family coming soon!”
The poster has Varun in a brief, almost naked. He has a gun in one hand and a fenny pack across his torso. His expressions are confused yet shocked and we are intrigued what it is that has shocked him.

Mr Lele is Varun’s third collaboration with Shashank after two Dulhania films, Janhvi’s second after her debut film Dhadak and Bhumi’s first. The film’s plot revolves around three individuals who are eyewitnesses to a mystery and what it leads to.
Yesterday, Karan had intrigued the audience with a picture with Varun and Shashank in it. He wrote, “They have been a crazy team! Their dulhania franchise has met with abundant love! But their craziness hasn’t been explored! Well not till now !!! Tomorrow morning will see the announcement of a film where the winning combination of @shashankkhaitan and @varundvn !! Two close friends will come together for a maha entertainer with a dash of crazy! Get ready! And watch this space from the house and family of.”
According to the reports, the film is in the pre-production stage and will go on floors in the first week of March. The film is set to hit the screens on January 1, 2021.
