Money Heist: Varun Dhawan VS Ayushmann Khurrana VS Kartik Aaryan – Which Bollywood Actor Do You Think Could Nail The Professor’s Role? Vote Now!

All you Money Heist buffs, move over Ayushamnn Khurrana’s ‘Professor’ avatar. Fans now seem to have found a closer lookalike to Álvaro Morte’s character in Varun Dhawan. It all began when the actor recently shared a throwback image on his official Instagram handle. And interestingly his followers couldn’t help but notice the uncanny resemblance between him and Money Heist’s Professor.

For the unversed, several Bollywood stars including Ayushamnn Khurrana have expressed their desire to play the character of Professor from Money Heist! Ayushmann had earlier even shared a post on his social media handle where he could be seen playing the tune of Bella Ciao from the series. He captioned the video saying, “I want to be the Professor. I want to put this out in the universe. Hello reverent filmmakers! Please! I’m dying to do something like this.”

What’s more is that the Money Heist director, Alex Rodrigo was shown pictures of several B’town actors in a recent YouTube interview. He had to pick actors who could play different characters from the show and he too chose Ayushamnn to play the Professor. Well, thanks to their facial resemblances.

Well, not just Ayushmann, fans began to draw comparisons between the professor and Kartik Aaryan too! This was after Kartik shared a sun-kissed photo of himself on his official social media handle a while ago. Take a look:

But it looks like Varun Dhawan is the man who has won the hearts of many, who are rooting for him to play the Indian version of the Professor! The post comes after a certain fan quizzed Varun and Shoojit Sircar on a particular scene from their film October.

Within seconds fans flooded the actor’s social media handle with comments like, “This look of yours reminds me of Professor from money heist Bella ciao,” “Money Heist professor,” “Professor,” “Bela chao professor,” “Money Heist,” “Omggg i took you for the Professor from Money Heist.”

Ever since the release of the show, it has been getting tremendous response from the fans. We lost Alba Flores aka Nairobi in this season and even though it’s been more than a month, fans are still not over that grief.

Money Heist is a Spanish crime drama that revolves around the Professor, who plans heists which are executed by his team. The role of the professor is played by Álvaro Morte aka Sergio Marquina. He is the mastermind of the series and has a huge fan base on social media post the success of the show in 2017.
