Sendhil Ramamurthy plays Abhay, an NRI, who comes to Mumbai to set up an NGO and gets involved with the mafia in Shor In The City. He finds out that the city is not as welcoming as he thought and soon discovers that he might not be different from the thousands that mill around the bustling city.
As he struggles to come to terms with reality in an unwelcoming city, he bumps into Shalmili (Preeti Desai), a model from Mumbai. Shalmili gives Abhay a fresh and realistic perspective of the city.
