Manisha Koirala, who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, underwent a surgery in New York a day before, and the surgery was a successful one.
The whole of tinsel town and Manisha’s fans were saddened by the newsflash of her suffering from cancer, which was later found to be an ovarian cancer. She was even hospitalized in Mumbai few weeks back after she reportedly fell unconscious.

Reports flew in that the star with her family has gone to US for the surgery, and before the surgery Manisha tweeted, “Dear friends I m writing this as a request..pl no sadness,I hv told my closest friends n fam too..this is part of life..I m fine n will be fine no matter th out come..I m in gratitude with all the gifts I hv received from this life..like your love n prayers..lets celebrate life in all forms..thank you again for ur prayers…love m”.

She further added Rabindranath Tagore’s lines, “‘Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers,but to be fearless in facing them.Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it’- Rabindranath Tagore.”
Manisha also posted a picture along with her family on Twitter just before her surgery. The excision was a fruitful one and Manisha is reported to recover well.
Last seen in RGV’s Bhoot Returns this year, Manisha had the whole nation praying for her recovery and well being.
