Mallika Sherawat has been away from the big screen since quite a while now, but the actress still manages to mark the headlines for some reason or the other. Owing to the heartbreaking incident of Hyderabad based vet Priyanka Reddy being brutally gangraped and burnt, Mallika has opposed the rape culture in a bold way.
Mallika took to her Instagram and shared a black and white picture where she could be seen posing towards the wall, and looking straight at the camera with fierce eyes. The picture has ‘STOP RAPE’ written in red and covers half of her body. She captioned the image as, “Stop Rape now‼️End Rape culture”

Soon after she posted the image, viewers took to the comment section and put forth their opinions. While a user wrote, “Medam ye tbhi bnd hoga jab tk hmara india ka kanoon change nahi hota on the spot faansi ya goli aise nahi bnd hoga”
“Rape is not a culture though, not in same humanity,” wrote another.

Meanwhile, various celebrities starting from Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel, Sonal Chauhan, Rakul Preet Singh amongst others, took to their Twitter today to express happiness towards the encounter of the accused of the Priyanka Reddy Case. They all wished for the deceased soul to rest in peace.
