Today, Jasmeet K Reen, who directed Darlings, announced that she will helm the Madhubala biopic. She received praise for the Netflix film, which stars Shefali Shah, Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma. Also, the biopic based on the life of the legendary actress is one of the much-anticipated projects since 2023. The rumours about the biopic have been going around for almost a year now. But at least, the director’s name is confirmed.
In Jasmeet K Reen’s post about the Madhubala biopic, there is no mention of who will play the late iconic actress. The caption reads, “An exciting new journey with some wonderful people begins, grateful.” In this article, we have listed a few names we think are well-suited to headline the biopic.
