While the rest of India rejoices the chilly weather and even the unexpected snowfall, the unit of the film Lootera are not part of the merrymaking. The team, which were shooting in Dalhousie (Himachal Pradesh), were reportedly stranded in a snowstorm and even their sets got destroyed by the intense snowfall.

The Lootera team were stranded in Dalhousie due to heavy snowfall.

To reduce the loss of working days, the team will have to construct the sets again. If that wasn’t bad enough, lead actor Ranveer Singh was stranded at Jammu airport for two days. As the entire highway from Jammu to Dalhousie was buried in 4 feet snow, Ranveer was stuck at the airport waiting for the roads to get cleared. Director Vikramaditya Motwane, Mahendra Shetty (DOP) and Aditya Kanwar (Art Director) were out to check on the set constructed in Gawar, 3 kms from Dalhousie.
