Shunned as a flimsy performer by most critics, Sonakshi Sinha proved her mettle in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera. The film that was partly based on O.Henry’s popular short story ‘The Last Leaf’ has managed to attract a theater group in New York as per reports of a leading daily.
The Broadway show for which Sonakshi has been called is scheduled for summer this year. A Broadway stint will silence all those who denote to her the term ‘sidekick of actors’ which isn’t entirely untrue give her track record of choices she has made in films barring Lootera. Though the actress has still n ot accepted the offer but she is expected to take a call at the earliest.
