Just a few days back, Akshay Kumar revealed the first look of his next Laxmmi Bomb which is a Hindi remake of Kanchana with the release date. But soon after the poster came out, director Raghava Lawrence stepped down from the project. He took to his Twitter account and informed about it.

He stated multiple reasons for exiting from the film. He wrote, “In this world, more than money and fame, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person’s character. So I have decided to step out of the project, Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi remake of Kanchana. I don’t want to mention the reason because there are multiple reasons, but one of them is that the first look poster of the film was released today without my knowledge and even without discussing anything with me.”

Now according to Mumbai Mirror, the producers of the film met on Sunday to plans things out for the film and it seems that they have signed another director. The source revealed, “The second schedule is only in September and things will fall in place by then. Akshay has allotted bulk dates for a 40-day marathon shooting spell in Mumbai. With Raghava, there was a communication gap which was difficult to breach. So we have to take a decision on the new director soon.”

Well, we hope things get sorted soon and get back to normal. This film was supposed to be the Bollywood debut of Raghava but now this won’t happen for now at least.

Laxmmi Bomb is slated to release on 5th June, 2020.
