Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist aka Aamir Khan is all set to come up with his next, Lal Singh Chaddha post the Thugs Of Hindostan fiasco. Fans of Aamir are eagerly waiting for him to recreate the same magic that he does with his films.
He announced Lal Singh Chaddha this year on his birthday which is an official adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. The film will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite Aamir.

Post announcing the film, Aamir has been working on his look as he will be seen donning a turban look and he is also busy doing the recce for the film. As per a report in Mid-Day, Aamir, who is currently in Punjab hunting locations for the film, met his good friend and Punjabi star Gippy Grewal. Gippy is a huge Aamir fan, hence he is also lending his help to hunt the best locations. He has also assigned his best men Rana Ranbir & Ardaas Khan to help with the screenplay of the film and Punjabi dialogues. Since Aamir is playing a Sikh in the film, Gippy gifted him a Kada as a token of good luck.

A source revealed, “Gippy Grewal is an Aamir fan. Whenever the superstar goes to Punjab, Gippy makes sure to meet him. Recently, when the actor went to Punjab for a recce, Gippy joined the film’s crew and helped them zero in on locations. Since he knew that Aamir plays a Sikh in the movie, he gifted the superstar the Guru da Kada as a token of good luck. Aamir was touched by the gesture, and promised the Punjabi singer that he will sport the kada in the film.”

Directed by Advait Chandan, Lal Singh Chaddha will release on Christmas 2020.
