Saif Ali Khan is back in on a roll after witnessing an ordinary phase in his career. After the breakthrough performance in Sacred Games, the actor managed to bag some interesting scripts under his name. His this year’s release Laal Kaptaan made movie buffs curious after it was learnt that the actor portrays the character of Naga Sadhu. Headed for a Dussehra release, the first look of the movie is finally out.
The first look of Laal Kaptaan showcases Saif Ali Khan in a never-seen-before avatar and it’s spine-chilling and intriguing at the same time. It features a dialogue, “Har Ram ka apna Raavan, har Ram ka apna Dussehra”, which hints that Saif is playing a grey shaded character.

Backed by Aanand L Rai’s Laal Kaptaan is slated to release on 11th October 2019.
Reportedly, Saif is also said to reunite with his Dil Chahta Hai co-star Aamir Khan for Vikram Vedha‘s remake. The Hindi remake will be titled “Vikram Veda“.
“Vikram Vedha” draws inspiration from the folk tale of Raja Vikramaditya and the spirit, Betaal, and imagines the tale in a modern-day set-up. In the film, Vikram is a top cop gunning for a criminal named Vedha. The cop manages to capture the criminal several times through the story, but each time the criminal gives him the slip by distracting him with an interesting new story about his life. The stories also change the cop’s perception towards his life and duty.
