Konkana Sen Sharma has always been away from the usual frenzy of B-town, so when the actress says she is not bothered with what is happening in the industry, it does not come as a surprise! Konkana was talking on the sidelines of the screening of her upcoming film Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, directed by actor Seema Pahwa, at the 21st Jio MAMI Mumbai Film festival on Saturday evening.
Konkana who has films like Life In A Metro, Wake Up Sid and Omkara to her credit said she does not bother with what her contemporaries are doing and prefers to focus only on her work. “I don’t care. I am not at all interested in what the industry is doing, what the trends are, how it is changing. I have lost all interest. I am just doing my own work and make my life interesting. But I do hope it (industry) is doing well.”

She further said, “I am very much in the moment. I do what is interesting to me. I never wanted to act and direct films so I never made plans. I have always gone with the flow.”
Konkana further said, “I believe every year there are few good films which are surreal or interesting or artistic or experimental. But the bulk of the films are not great. We have made some fantastic films in the 70s and stuff. The bulk of the money is going to a place where the films are not that great.”
