Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, when came on board for Yash’s pan India magnum opus KGF: Chapter 2, it made a huge buzz. But later there was also a petition filed against the casting of the actor in the film. Turns out that the Karnataka High Court has dismissed the plea and below is all you need to know about the same.

For the unversed, the plea that was filed against Sanjay Dutt‘s casting in KGF: Chapter 2, was due to his previous involvement in the violation of Arms Act. His involvement dates back to 1993, when an illegal weapon was collected from an accused of the tragic blasts. For the same, Dutt was sentenced to 5 years in prison. In 2016, the actor was released.

Now as per various reports, the Karnataka High Court has dismissed the plea against the casting of KGF: Chapter 2. The court ordered that no law prohibits a convict from working in any films.

Meanwhile, we recently saw the makers of Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 release Sanjay Dutt’s first look from the film. But they face the heat for it as well. The look was accused of being a copy of Travis Fimmel’s Viking character.

However, the film has already suffered the wrath of the pandemic and now due to Sanjay Dutt’s severe health condition, there is a further delay. The film also stars Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon alongside Yash and Dutt.
