Katrina Kaif has class. Most heroines in her place would not have done what she did on the last day of shooting of one of her films and if any other heroine would’ve done it, she would, in all probability, ensure that it was covered by the media so that her action got noticed.
One is talking about Katrina’s humanitarian gesture on the sets of Ramesh Taurani’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. The considerate actress gave Rs. 5 lakh to the unit members on the last day of shooting of the film. That was her way of thanking the workers for the effort they put in to making the film.
Explains Katrina, “Rajkumar Santoshi is a tough taskmaster and it wasn’t rare for shooting to extend beyond 14-15 hours a day. When we actors used to get tired, you can imagine how tiresome it must’ve been for the workers, who do physical labour. I was just acknowledging their hard work.”
