Kartik Aaryan Has NOT Watched The Original Pati Patni Aur Woh & Here’s Why!

While Talking to Bombay Times, Kartik Aaryan revealed why he didn’t watch the 1978 film, directed by BR Chopra. He said “The makers have picked only the basic premise from the original film (by the same name) and changed the other elements around it. I didn’t watch the cult classic, because I wanted Chintu to be a completely new person on the big screen.”

He said, “When the trailer came, we realized that we shouldn’t hurt anyone and should remove it immediately. Usually, this doesn’t happen in films.”

“We took responsibility because it might have come across as something that wasn’t our intention. We realized we shouldn’t use that word (rape) at all so we have rectified it and made changes because we don’t want to hurt people’s sentiments,” added the Pati Patni Aur Woh actor.

Backed by Bhushan Kumar, Pati Patni Aur Woh will hit the theatres on December 6.
