Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s last film was also titled Good Newwz. Also starring Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh & Kiara Advani, the film hit cinemas in Dec 2019 and did a business of more than 200 crores at the box office.
Her upcoming film is Laal Singh Chaddha. Starring Aamir Khan along with Kareena, the film was scheduled for Christmas 2020 but got pushed ahead because of COVID-19 pandemic. As per the latest reports, the film will now hit the cinemas on Christmas 2021.
Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of Hollywood cult classic Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks in lead. The Turkey schedule of the film will kickstart soon. The film is directed by Advait Chandan.
